Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort Announces Summer Pool Parties
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort is hosting free and open-to-the-public pool parties every Saturday and Sunday during the summer months.
The Blind Turtle, the resort’s recently renovated poolside bar, invites guests to the newly launched Malibu Pool Party every Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. through Sept. 2. With a live DJ, summer games and a life-size piña colada cup for the perfect photo op, it’s the ideal way to savor the weekend and cool off.
Additionally, the resort’s WET Pool Party series takes over every Sunday through Aug. 27. Now in its fourth year, the high-energy celebration takes place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the redesigned pool deck. Locals and visitors are invited to sample refreshing cocktails from The Blind Turtle’s updated food and beverage menu and dance by the DJ booth until the sun goes down.
One of the hotel’s seven dining venues, The Blind Turtle was the first of three reimagined food and beverage outlets enhanced as part of Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort’s $25 million renovation. The venue, unveiled in May, replaced the former poolside bar and incorporates a tiki-themed concept while bringing awareness to issues facing sea turtles that can affect their abilities to swim and feed. The Blind Turtle was also repositioned at the north end of the pool, allowing guests to lounge poolside while taking in an unobstructed view of the Atlantic Ocean.
