During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to dine on four decadent courses, meticulously paired with Italian wines sourced from Ruffino and Borgo Conventi wineries.
The evening will begin with an exclusive reception in McCoy’s Rum Room, featuring an assortment of Italian wine samples and cheese crudité. An Amuse Bouche will also be prepared using Roasted Beets, Montrachet Cheese Terrain, Honey Walnuts and an Aged Balsamic, giving diners a little taste of what is to come in the main courses.
Following the reception, Head Chef Greg Bauer will introduce every course and its unique wine pairing. The menu for the evening showcases a variety of flavors that will invigorate the palate, enticing guests into the next course. Each of the four courses offers a different taste of Italy: from the first course, which showcases Venison Carpaccio served with micro herbs, organic olive oil and black sea salt and paired with a 2016 Ruffino, íl Ducale, to the final course. Throughout the evening, an expert wine steward will elevate this Italian Wine Dinner by explaining the history of the wines and their distinctive tasting notes.
