Wednesday, July 3rd
There is nothing more American than watching a baseball game. On July 3rd head to the historic Jackie Robinson Ballpark where you can root on the Daytona Tortugas as they play the Tampa Bay Tarpons at 7:05 pm. Cap off an action-packed evening with the ballpark's own fireworks display. It's the perfect way to kick off a week of holiday festivities.
Thursday, July 4th
However you choose to celebrate Independence Day this year, Daytona Beach has you covered. Spend your day at Rockefeller Garden, the former winter home of John D. Rockefeller. This family-friendly event hosted among beautiful, manicured gardens offers live entertainment, games and inflatables for the little ones. Once the sun goes down, watch the fireworks show light up the Halifax River.
The popular Daytona Beach Bandshell, offers free concerts all summer long, and the 4th of July is no exception. Catch the Eagles tribute band Alter Eagles rock out at 7:15 pm on July 4th. General admission is free and VIP seating is only $10. Stay after the concert for fireworks over the Atlantic Ocean. All weekend long the Bandshell is offering an exciting tribute band lineup, from Kid Rock to Lynyrd Skynyrd. Love the fireworks at Bandshell? Come back at 9:45 pm on Saturday, July 6th for a pyrotechnic encore.
For more family-friendly festivities on July 4th, head to Riverside Park at Vero Beach for their annual Fourth of July Celebration…Family…Fun…Fireworks from 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm. This family event offers play areas for the kids, food trucks, art vendors, dance competitions, trivia contests, games, races and live music. Once the sun goes down the party keeps going with a beautiful fireworks display.
Saturday, July 6th
NASCAR fans coming to Daytona Beach to watch the Coke Zero Sugar 400 Race on July 6th can still participate in the patriotic festivities. Following Saturday's long-awaited race, racecar enthusiasts are in for another treat: Daytona International Speedway will light up the sky with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Southeast. The famous raceway's fireworks are slated to begin at 10:00 pm.
