Daytona Beach Events - Easter Fun Run on the Pier

Enjoy the pleasant springtime weather and stretch your legs at the 2017 Easter Fun Run in Daytona Beach. Now in its 50^th year, it's the oldest consecutive footrace in the state of Florida. Featuring a free-wheeling, holiday theme, the fun run cruises along the coastline with a two-mile and four-mile course.

The race begins and ends at the Daytona Beach Bandshell. Two-mile racers will run to the Schnebly Rec Center and turn around, while four-mile racers will run to Morningside Avenue and turn around. Everyone comes back together at the Bandshell for a finish line party and awards ceremony.

For kids, there will also be a ¼-mile race, 100-yard dash, and 50-yard dash. Easter Fun Run races get started at 8:00 am, but the party continues long after. Head over to Bubba Gump Shrimp, Co. for a delicious lunch of their world-renowned shrimp and grits.
